The mezzo-soprano Aneta Petrasová began first studying the flute and was later accepted to theMusic School of Prague for the vocal studies with Prof. Christine Kluge. She continued at theJanáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno with Prof. Anna Barová and at the Hochschule fürMusik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden in the class of Prof. Hendrikje Wangemann and then inthe concert class of Prof. Olaf Bär. During her studies Aneta became a laureate of some singing competitions (e.g. Bohuslav Martinů Song Competition or Dušek Mozart Competition). She is devoted to performing the 17 th and 18 th century music, but also has her own song repertoire.
Since 2013, both as a member of the ensemble and as a soloist, Aneta has collaborated with Dresdner Kammerchor (with Hans-Christoph Rademann as an artistic director) and since 2015 also with Collegium vocale 1704 (with Václav Luks as an artistic director). With the latest mentioned ensembles she has performed at major festivals and concert stages such as Salzburger Festspiele, Bachfest Leipzig, Bachfest Stuttgart, Resonanzen Wien / Wiener Konzerthaus, Berliner Philharmonie, Oude Muziek Utrecht and others. Since 2015, Aneta Petrasová has been singing with Auditivvokal, the German ensemble specializing in contemporary vocal music.
