Lukáš Zeman
Lukáš Zeman, first studied bassoon, conducting and singing in Prague where he was born, and then went on to study languages at the University Salzburg and singing at the University Mozarteum Salzburg. Between 2008-2013 he studied voice with Sasja Hunnego and Andrew Schroeder at Royal Conservatory The Hague.
He actively participated at master classes of David Wilson-Johnson, Alessandro Corbelli, Margreet Hoonig, Malcolm Martineau, KS Hanna Ludwig and Donatella Debolini. He graduated at the Dutch National Opera Academy as II Conte in Le nozze di Figaro conducted by Richard Eggar and directed by Alexander Oliver. Lukas won the 3. prize at the biggest world competition for sacred music (Concorso Internazionale „ Musica Sacra“Roma 2014).

He performed minor roles at the Cantiere Montepulciano and the Komische Oper Berlin. He spent two years as a postgraduate student at the Conservatorio di Luigi Cherubini in Florence performing Marco in Gianni Schicchi, Il Conte in Le nozze di Figaro, Slook in La cambiale matrimonio. Lukas also sang the role of Aeneas, Papageno, Guglielmo, Nardo (DNOA), L´horloge and Le chat in L'Enfant et les sortil?ges, Lully´s Pinée in Persée at the Almagro Theater Festival 2012 and the role of Nat Ackerman at the NJO festival 2012 (Death Knocks-Chirstian Jost- dutch premiere). Latest engagements include performing of the opera Dog´s heart at the Lyon Opera House, the role of Crespel/Luther of The tales of Hoffmann at the Teatro Pisa, Teatro Lucca, Teatro Goldoni Livorno and Teatro Coccia in Novara under musical guidance of Guy Condette and solo part of The child of our time by Michael Tippet conducted by Paul McCreesh in Dartington Great Hall.
Further, Lukas performed at the Teatro Maggio in Firenze as one of Ridicules in Prokofiev´s Love for Three Oranges conducted by Juraj Valčuha and the role of Ulisse in Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria in Bologna under musica gudance of Michele Vanelli
Between main events of last years were performing Die Soldaten by B.A. Zimmermann at the Teatro alla Scala conducted by Ingo Metzmacher and Orfeo by Monteverdi as Pastore and Spirito and Apollo under the guidance of Roberto Balconi (EXPO / Milano).
He performd the role of Jontek in Halka (2. version) in Slowacki Theater in Cracow and the role of Kuligin in Robert Carsen´s production of Káťa Kabanová at Teatro Regio in Torino.
Besides these activities, Lukas partecipates at projects of Collegium 1704, Zürcher Sing-Akademie at The Tonhalle Zürich, Il Canto di Orfeo, PhiloMelante, Orkiestra Historycna, Capella Craoviensis and L´aura rilucente.
He is passionate with chamber music. He gave solo recitals in India, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and Netherlands.
