Klauda continued his musical education at the Academy of performig Arts in Prague, where he studied conducting under Hynek Farkač. Since graduating in 2005 (MgA) he has been working for the National theatre in Prague(opera), as the leading voice coach and assistant conductor. He has also been a publishing composer, e.g. with the us “Alliance publications,Inc.”
Since 2008 Zdenek Klauda has been cooperating as a musical coach with various prestigious European opera houses and musical festivals, such as Salzburger Festspiele, Bayerische Staatsoper Mnichov, Opera de Valencia or Opera National de Paris. He was repeatedly invited to Glyndenbourne opera festival, in 2012 for Janacek’s Prihody lisky Bystrousky and the next season for Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro. In 2015 he was a guest musical coach for Staatsoper Hannover (Janacek’s Jenufa, Dvorak’s Rusalka).
In 2012 Klauda won 3rd prize in a conducting competition in Romania. As an assistant he has worked with many renowned conductors, such as Franz Welser-Most, Kyril Petrenko,Vladimir Jurowski or Tomas Netopil.
In 2014 Zdenek Klauda estabilished a chamber orchestra L’Armonia Terrrena, which has been focused on performing re-discovered compositions of the Czech/Bohemian classicism. The orchestra made their debut recording a CD DECADE with a Czech leading soprano Simona Houda Saturova. The Album of Myslivecek’s and Mozart’s opera arias was highly rated in a prestigious music magazine Diapason.
