Dora Pavlíková

The soprano singer Dora Pavlíková was born in Prague. She received a first musical education in the renowned children´s choir „Bambini di Praga“. After vocal studies at the Jan Deyl Conservatoire in Prague, she finished her studies at the Conservatoire of Pardubice (class of Prof. Simuková) in 2004. She finnished her studies 2012 on the Nuremberg School of Music in the class of Dr. Jan Hammar. In addition to that, she participated in master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender, Margaret Baker-Genovesi, Edith Wiens, Rudolf Jansen, Andrej Kucharsky and Rudolf Piernay. In Czech Republic, Dora Pavlíková appeared, among others, as Dvořák´s „Rusalka“ and as Lidunka in Blodek´s „In the Well“, as well as in numerous concerts and radio recordings. Further parts were Lauretta (Puccini „Gianni Schicchi“) and Alice Ford (Verdi „Falstaff“). After she began her studies in Germany, she sang the Countess Almaviva  (Mozart „ Le nozze di Figaro“) and Flaminia (Haydn „ Il mondo della luna“) in production of the conservatoire. At the Munich Chamber Opera she sang the part of Elisetta (Cimarosa „Il matrimonio segrtetto“), Fulvia (Rossini „La pietra del paragone“), Ninetta (Mozart „La finta semplice“) and Marchesa Lucinda (Piccini „La Cecchina“). Besides, she performed in lieder recitals and concerts that led her to Austria, Belgium, Japan and France where she guested 2005 at the festival „Éclat de voix“. In spring 2007 she performed the title role „Fredegunda“ in the baroque opera by Reinhard Keiser under the direction of Christoph Hammer at the Prinzregententheater Munich. She was nominated several times for this part in the category „Fledgling Artist of the Year“ in a survey among critics of the „Opernwelt“ (2007). A recording of „Fredegunda“ with Dora Pavlíková was published at Naxos in January 2009.
