Hilda Gulyásová

Hilda Gulyásová is a graduate of the Conservatory in Bratislava in the fields of singing (J. Billová) and church music (D. Bill, P. Reiffers). She also studied musicology (the Faculty of Arts, Charles University) and Catholic theology (Faculty of Theology at Trnava University). During her studies she was a member of the Chamber Choir of the State Conservatory in Bratislava (1997 - 2010) and as a soloist she performed in many European countries, the USA and the Middle East.
At present, she mainly specializes in the interpretation of works of sacred significance from the baroque, classicism and contemporary church music. As a soloist and member of several musical ensembles she has performed at various festivals (Bratislava Music Festival, Days of Ancient Music, Convergence, Trnava Music Spring, and others). She regularly collaborates with Solamente naturali, Musica Aeterna, SKO. Her activities in the field of liturgical music are associated primarily with the Franciscan Schola at the Church of the Annunciation in Bratislava, dedicated to reviving the musical heritage of the Franciscan composers. She teaches at the State Conservatory, the Department of Church music and singing.
