Helena Poczykowska

In 2008, she graduated with honours from the Academy of Music in Krakow, Singing Class of Professor Agnieszka Monasterska. She is developing her vocal skills under the guidance of Professor Ingrid Kremling and during specialist courses of old music interpretation offered by, among others, Jill Feldman, Claire Lefilliatre, Charles Daniels and Jan van Elsacker.
Her repertoire includes the most important oratorio pieces by J. S. Bach, G. F. Handel, J. Haydn and W. A. Mozart and many 17th and 18th century opera parts.
She works for Capella Cracoviensis and in her artistic activity primarily focuses on chamber music performing madrigals and motets of many composers, ranging from Josquin Desprez to Paul Hindemith.
She gives concerts in Poland and abroad, sharing the stage with such conductors as Andrew Parrott, Paul McCreesh, Vincent Dumestre, Ottavio Dantone and Fabio Bonizzoni. She takes part in prestigious music events, such as Misteria Paschalia, Opera Rara, Baroque Opera Festival Dramma per Musica and Olavsfestdagene Trondheim.
