Michalina Bienkiewicz

Michalina Bienkiewicz, a soprano, may develop her talent and excellent technique on a daily basis at Capella Cracoviensis, Krakow’s early music ensemble. In 2011-2013 she was a member of Thüringer Opernstudio and as such sang solo parts in Weimar, Erfurt and Nordhausen. She performed in 15 opera productions, including the part of Nanetta in Falstaff by Giuseppe Verdi, Fiakermilli in Arabella by Richard Strauss, Blonde in The Abduction from the Seraglio by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Morgana in Alcina by George Frideric Handel.
In 2012-2013 Michalina Bienkiewicz was on a guest contract with Theater Chemnitz. Before that, in 2010-2011 she had been a member of Vienna’s Arnold Schoenberg Choir, which gave her an opportunity to collaborate with such musical authorities as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, William Christie, Bernard Haitink, Robert Carsen, Christophe Rousset and Cecilia Bartoli.
She obtained her diploma in Solo Singing in Vienna and Krakow; she is also a graduate of English and German Philology. In 2008 she launched the Concerti Pasquali festival, which she has been coordinating since. In 2015 she received a scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the field of music.
