Dušan Růžička

He studied at the Prague Conservatory under the tutelage of Prof. Luděk Löbl. Since 2010 he continues his studies with Prof. Zlatice Livorová in Bratilava. With her class he regularly takes part in Peter Dvorsky Summer courses in Piešťany. Since 2011 he permanently collaborates with the F. X. Salda Theatre (Remendado in Bizet´s Carmen, Kilian in C. M. Weber´s Marksman, Gaston in Verdi´s La Traviata, Rodríguez and Juan in Massenet´s Don Quichotte, Alfred in Strauss´es Bat, and Bořivoj in Dvořák´s oratorio St. Ludmila). In 2012 he first sang in Silesian Theatre Opava (Gabriel Eisenstein in Strauss´es Bat), where he is engaged now, performing the roles of Almaviva (G. Rossini: Il barbiere di Siviglia), Průcha (R. Piskáček: Perly pany Serafínky). Additional engagement has taken him to the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (Abaldo in Verdi´s Nabucco). He also cooperates with Pisek Chamber Orchestra and Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice (J. V. Tomašek: Requiem). He enjoyes concert performances of early and sacred music (Mozart, Rossini, Haydn, Dvorak, Druzecky). He regurarly appears under conductors such as F. Babicky, T. Brauner, M. Doubravsky, T. Hanak, R. Hugo, P. Chromcak, V. Jouza and K. Mladek.
