Roman Payer is a welcome guest at European concert stages, of which we could mention Theatre of Herod Attica, Athens, Luxemburg Philharmonic, the Church of Our Lady Queen in Ostrava, Hercule´s Hall in Munich, Die Glocke in Bremen, Cathedral of St. Gallen in Switzerland, castle in Heidelberg, Congress Hall in Augsburg, Cathedral in Speyer, Mainz, St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, Vienna Musikverein and Konzerthaus.
His diverse repertoire ranges from Renaissance to contemporary, including Monteverdi's Marian Vespers, Bach's Passions, the great Händel, Haydn and Mendelssohn's oratorios, Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Verdi's Requiem.
Besides his concert activities Roman Payer is primarily devoted to singing operas. His last major engagements took him to the Semperoper in Dresden, State Opera in Hanover, Leipzig Opera, and theater in St. Gallen, Regensburg, Innsbruck, Ulm, Augsburg, Koblenz, Pforzheim, Darmstadt and Coburg.
