Beppino Delle Vedove

Born in Udine in 1964, Beppino Delle Vedove studied at the Conservatory of that town, graduating in Organ, Organ Composition and Harpsichord. He then attended various specialisation courses in Italy, Germany and Switzerland which have taken him into contact with the biggest personalities in the world of Organ and Harpsichord music. He taught at the Conservatories of Piacenza, Cagliari and Palermo and in 1998 won the chair of Organ and Organ Composition at the "Jacopo Tomadini" Conservatory in Udine.
He performs in Italy and abroad with success of public and critics. He played for the inauguration of new organs as well as for the restoration of ancient organs. He has been a jury member in national and international competitions for organ performance. He has recorded for RAI (Italian national Radio) and for other regional private broadcasters. He has also recorded CDs playing on the organs of the territory of Friuli and Sicily.
Since 2004 he is the titular organist of the Cathedral of Udine. In 2007 he founded the Association “Udinese Organ Academy” for the promotion of the organ heritage of this region; and is the creator and artistic director of the International Organ Festival Friulano “G.B. Candotti”.
