Martin Petrák is the founder and artistic director of Venti Diversi ensemble and MUSIKA [ANTIQ]ARIA, winner of International Radio Competition "Concertino Praga", a member of Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. After graduating Prague Conservatoire, he continued his studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Here he became interested in early music led by Lukáš Vendl. After studies he founded ensemble MUSIKA [ANTIQ]ARIA (2006) and Venti Diversi ensemble (2008), which are interested in early music. Martin Petrák is well know performer in Czech and foreign projects. He specializes in chamber projects. He also cooperates with many leading czech baroque projects - Collegium Marianum, Hipocondria ensemble, Harmonia delectabilis and others. Currently he is a member of these ensembles: Trio DuBois, PhilHarmonia Octet, Prague Bassoon Band, Juventus Quintet. His solo career is connected with Prague chamber orchestra, Prague philharmonic, Cappella Istropolitana. He also collaborates with Lukáš Vendl, Jana Semerádová, Jiří Vodička, Sergio Azzolini, Maurice Bourgue. Since 2005 Martin is a member of Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2010 he is teaching on the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Ostrava.
