Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After her Piano diploma sue studied conducting and singing at the Conservatorio Nacional, Buenos Aires University,  Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colon, Zurich’s Internationales Opernstudio (Switzerland),  Scuola Musicale di Milano, Italy,  with Marta Blanco, Horst Günther, Anatoli Gousev, Denise Dupleix (vocal training) and  G. Opitz (Chanson and Lied). She gained the First Prize at the V “Academia Bach”- Shell-Capsa Voice Competition 1999-2000.
In 1995 made her debut in the Teatro Colon in J.S. Bach’s Magnificat and Vivaldi’s Gloria. In the same theatre she sung in Monteverdi’s Orfeo (Nymph, 2000) and Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro (Cherubino, 2001), Cosi fan tutte (Dorabella, 2006), Britten’s A Middsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia, 2006) and Massenet’s Werther (Charlotte, 2007).
At the Teatro Avenida in Buenos Aires, she sang in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges, Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte, Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte, the title rol in Bizet’s Carmen, La Voisine in Stravinsky’s Mawra, Euridice in Charpentier’s Le Descente d’Orphee aux Enfers and Isabella in Rossini’s L’Iitaliana in Algeri. At the Dante Alighieri Auditorium (Buenos Aires) she sang Rosina in  Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
As a member of Internationales Opernstudio Opernhaus Zurich for the season 2003/2004, she appeared as Clarice in Rossini’s La Pietra del Paragone. For the season 2004-2005 she sung at the Lyon Opera House the rol of Ottavia in Monteverdi’s Incoronazione di Poppea, together with Les Arts Florissants, under the baton of William Christie, and the rol of Cherubino in a Buenos Aires Lirica production, at the Teatro Avenida; she is as well Zerlina in a new production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Porrentruy, Switzerland; in 2007 she’s cast again for a new version, broadcasted by the Television Suisse Romande, with the orchestra Capriccio (Basel) with original instruments and the condiction of Emmanuel Calef. In 2008, she creates the role of Hermia in Britten’s opera A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Opera de Nice (France), and a role of Helen in Offenbach’s La belle Hélène in Teatro Avenida of Buenos Aires, and the role of Fabio Gondi in Donizzetti’s Maria di Rohan at Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires.
Elswhere she has appeared at Victoria Hall (Geneva), Teatro de la Zarzuela (Madrid), Teatro Politeama Garibaldi (Palermo, Italia) and in Baroque Music Festivals in Ambronnay and Fontevraud (France), Anvers (Belgium) and in Latinoamerica as well appearing on several recordings with the Elyma Ensemble under the direction of Gabriel Garrido.

Mariana has a strong interest in chamber music and Baroque music. She’s sung many recitals with different repertoires (german lied, Spanish song, French mélodie). She sung also in Cavalli’s La virtu degli strali d’amore (Vigo, Spain) and Rappresentazione di Anima e Corpo, Rameau’s Les Indes Galantes (Salamanca, Spain) and the role of Dido in Purcell’s Dido and Eneas (Argentina). In 2007 she recorded the rol of Venus in Cavalli’s Gli amori di Apollo e di Dafne, with the Elyma Ensemble.
Her future engagements, in 2009 et 2010 includes recording of La Resurrezione (Cléofe) by Haendel with orchestra Collegium 1704 and conductor Václav Luks, followed with concert tour
in France (Festival de Sablé, La Chaise-Dieu, Pontoise, Vézelay) and the main role (Rinaldo) in  Rinaldo by G. F. Händel in the National Theater in Prague, Opéra de Luxemburg, Opéra de Rennes et Théâtre Opéra de Caen with Collegium 1704 and under the baton of Václav Luks, as well as role of Israelitish Man in Haendel’s Judas Maccabeus with the Chœur de Chambre de Namur (Belgique).
