She studied violoncello with Prof. Viktor Moučka at the Prague Conservatory and later at the Music Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts. Already during her studies she worked with Jiří Stivín at Collegium Quolibet. At that time, Hana’s interest in Baroque music began, and she therefore spent part of her studies in London, where she played the violin da gamba under the guidance of Prof. Alison Crum. At present, she is primarily devoted to the authentic interpretation of Baroque, Renaissance and classical music. Hana cooperates with leading Czech early music ensembles such as Musica Florea, Collegium Marianum, Collegium 1704, Capella regia musicalis, Ensemble Inégal, etc. With the above ensembles she performed at major European festivals such as Prague Spring, Festival de Samblé, Festival d'Ambronay, Dresdner Musikfestspiele, etc. From 2004 to 2006, she participated in the implementation of the unique Baroque music project entitled Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme with the French ensemble Le Poeme Harmonique. In 2006 Hana was asked to cooperate with the newly established Visegrad Baroque Orchestra. She is currently taking part in Monteverdi's opera L'Orfeo at the Estates Theatre (Stavovské divadlo) in Prague. She is a frequent guest in recording studios and has recorded many award-winning pieces for Czech and international music record labels.
